The heat from the MSI 2026 arena is spreading stronger than ever, ready to ignite the flame of passion in millions of Vietnamese gamers. The brain-teasing bans and nerve-wracking comebacks promise to create an explosive League of Legends summer.
Instead of just watching on a small screen, how can we preserve those legendary clash moments from our own vantage point?
Schedule and venue of MSI 2026
To be ready for evenings of gathering with friends, having a clear grasp of the tournament schedule is extremely important. According to official information from the organizers Riot Games:
When is MSI 2026 held?
The tournament will officially kick off from 28/06/2026 to 12/07/2026.
Among them, the Play-In runs from 28/06 to 01/07, and the Bracket stage spans from 03 - 06/07, 08 - 12/07.
Where is MSI 2026 held?
This year, the prestigious international tournament is being brought to the tech city of Daejeon, South Korea, specifically at the Daejeon Convention Center II (DCC2).
Fearless Draft format and the list of MSI 2026 teams ready to take the field
According to the official announcement from the organizers, MSI 2026 brings together 11 of the world's best teams to compete. The tournament’s heat is taken to a peak this year with a historic change: all matches from Play-In to the Final will be played in a BO5 format.
The excitement is amplified further as the Full Fearless Draft rule is applied throughout. Accordingly, a champion picked in a BO5 series will be locked and cannot be used in later games. This requires players to prepare an extremely wide champion pool and calculate strategies with great precision.
Because seed #2 from the LPL (Top Esports) is given a direct pass into the Bracket thanks to winning First Stand 2026, this year's Play-In will be a brutal knockout among the four remaining second seeds (T1, KC, TLAW, DCG) fighting for the sole ticket to advance.
