World Robot Olympiad (WRO) 2024 is one of the prestigious international competitions for robot programming, where teams from around the world participate to compete with robotics projects designed and programmed by the students themselves. In 2024, the Robotacon WRO 2024 competition was held in Turkey, with participation from 500 teams from over 87 countries, including the United States, Japan, South Korea, Denmark, Singapore, Malaysia,….

At the World Robot Olympiad (WRO) 2024, Vietnamese teams delivered outstanding performances and earned prizes to be proud of:
- The GV2-HSRL-01 team from Giảng Võ 2 Secondary School, Hanoi, brilliantly won the Runner-up prize in the Robomission category for ages 8-12.
- The HONG BANG 1 team from Le Quý Đôn High School and students Hoàng Chân Nguyên, Đoàn Thành Nhân from the Ho Chi Minh City High School for the Gifted and Talented won 3rd place in the 11-15 age group.
In addition, other teams such as: SEDBERGH VIETNAM, BL_KE INCREDIBLE, GATE HCM B3, FLASH, LITTLESUN HD7, WSXDREAM TEAM, CARLOS ALCARAZ, JANNIK SINNER, and DONG HANH also earned Silver and Bronze certificates, contributing to the overall success of the Vietnamese team in this competition.
