The Volvo 140 Series is a line of mid-sized cars produced by Volvo from 1966 to 1974, divided into models 142, 144 and 145, each model differs in body style and number of doors (142 is a coupe model with two doors, the 144 is a two-door coupe). (a four-door sedan and the 145 a five-door wagon) and each comes in different trim levels. Designed by Jan Wilsgaard, the 140 was the first Volvo to feature a more boxy body style; Compared to the Amazons it replaces, there are very few changes to both the interior and exterior.
